








The delegation of Uzbek media visited the Batken region for a working visit.
According to sources in the regional administration, the guests were received by Aibek Shamenov, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region.
During the discussions, the parties touched on important aspects concerning the strengthening of friendly ties and good neighborliness between the peoples, as well as the possibilities for expanding cooperation in border areas and developing tourism potential. An important point was the interaction in the information sphere and the implementation of joint projects at the border.
Shamenov also presented information about the upcoming project to create an ecological city "Jany Batken," which is planned to be launched soon, discussing its goals and development plans.
As part of the visit, Uzbek journalists also got acquainted with the work of the UTRK "Batken" television channel and the regional newspaper "Batken tany," studying the technical capabilities and working conditions of local media.
Moreover, during a live broadcast on the NTRK "Batken" television channel, journalists from both countries discussed the importance of information exchange for the development of friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
It should be noted that earlier, journalists from the Batken region had already made a visit to the Fergana region as a reciprocal visit. These events are taking place within the framework of bilateral cooperation agreements signed by the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
