Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France to Kyrgyzstan, Nicolas Fay. During this conversation, the possibilities for cooperation in the field of school and initial vocational education were discussed.

The ambassador expressed interest in deepening the teaching of the French language in general educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan and proposed the idea of introducing additional language hours into the curricula.
Kendirbaeva noted that in a number of schools in the country with a humanitarian and linguistic focus, there is an opportunity to introduce French as an elective subject. She also emphasized the importance of developing a teaching and methodological complex adapted to the peculiarities of the Kyrgyz educational system.
In addition, the Ministry of Education proposed ideas for expanding cooperation in the field of initial vocational education, including the development of short-term courses on French cuisine and training tourist guides in vocational lyceums.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to create a working group that will develop a curriculum for the French language and outline further steps for implementing joint educational initiatives.
