Fay emphasized the importance of developing the French language in educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan and suggested considering the possibility of adding additional hours for its study in school curricula.
The Minister of Education, in turn, pointed out the existence of schools with humanitarian and language specialization, where French could be introduced as an elective subject. However, she stressed that successful integration of this language would require the development of a special educational and methodological complex that would align with the Kyrgyz education system.
The expansion of cooperation in the field of initial vocational training was also discussed, including the creation of short-term courses in French cuisine and training tourist guides based on lyceum institutions.
As a result of the meeting, a decision was made to establish a working group that will focus on developing a program for teaching the French language and further educational projects.
