On October 17-18, a seminar on the topic "Strategy and Reforms in the Education Sector" is taking place at the "Issyk-Kul Aurora" sanatorium (Issyk-Kul region, Bulan-Sogottu village).
More than 100 people are participating in the round table, including representatives from: the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, heads of regional, city, and district education departments of the republic, and donor organizations.
During the two days of the seminar, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the World Bank projects "Support for Education Sector Reforms" and the European Union project "Support for the Education Sector in the Kyrgyz Republic," will conduct an overview of the main reforms in the education sector, including financing reforms, strategic plans of the Ministry, implementation of the action plan for the Education Development Strategy for 2012-2014, and preparation of the Action Plan for 2015-2017, as well as an overview of planned projects in the education sector.
