In an interview on "Birinchi Radio," Ibraev emphasized that last year, 2 billion soms were allocated for preparations for the winter season, which were used for replacing wires, poles, and acquiring vehicles. This year, about 3 billion soms have already been directed towards major repairs.

The minister also announced the opening of a new plant in Osh that produces concrete poles to replace wooden ones. Additionally, at HPP-5, the production of SIP cables has begun, which will allow for the replacement of aluminum wires with new self-insulated ones, reducing the risk of accidents and losses during strong winds. He noted that now energy workers will be able to quickly identify and eliminate the causes of accidents, including breaches in porcelain insulators.

According to Ibraev, this year, 500,000 smart meters have been installed, significantly simplifying the accounting process. Now operators are not required to visit homes to take readings, as everything is automated. Subscribers can monitor their expenses through the "My Light" app, which has helped reduce debts. Furthermore, by switching to electronic receipts, costs have been reduced by 10 million soms, which were previously spent on 40 tons of paper.
