
In Kyrgyzstan, the turnover of virtual assets for the first six months of this year amounted to 860 billion soms. This information was presented by Farhat Iminov, head of the secretariat of the National Council for the Development of Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President of the country.
According to him, there are currently about 200 licensed participants in the field of virtual assets operating in the republic.
Iminov noted that over the past three years, the market for cryptocurrency operators has grown 28 times. There is also an increase in trading and mining volumes. If in 2022 the volume of virtual assets was only 5 billion soms, by 2024 it had already reached 587 billion soms," he added.
