Checheybaev inspected the inpatient departments and outpatient block, as well as the offices of specialized doctors. The center has an inpatient facility with 50 beds, divided into 25 for adults and 25 for children.
According to the head of the Central Outpatient Health Center, the annual budget of the institution amounts to 120 million soms, which are allocated for operations, staff salaries, and infrastructure improvements.
The minister also reviewed projects for the implementation of energy-efficient technologies, including the installation of heat pumps. This will significantly reduce heating costs, and estimates suggest that savings could reach up to 1.5 million soms per year. The installation of treatment facilities will additionally save up to 2 million soms.
Erkin Checheybaev paid special attention to the quality of patient nutrition and the work of the food service. He noted that the diet should be balanced and controlled for food safety.
“Nutrition plays an important role in the treatment process. The management of the center should keep this aspect under control by offering patients a complete menu,” the minister emphasized.
During discussions with the management and medical staff, the minister addressed issues of staff shortages, the need for retraining specialists, as well as the non-compliance of some old buildings with modern sanitary and construction standards.
Checheybaev noted that when designing new medical facilities, it is important to coordinate plans with the Ministry of Health to avoid mistakes made in the past.
“We must build institutions that meet modern requirements: with convenient corridors, accessible environments, and comfortable layouts for patients and doctors,” he added.
