As part of the "Express Health - Bright Journey" initiative, specialists from China carried out 317 free surgeries, allowing many patients to regain their sight. The cost of one surgery exceeds 100,000 soms, but all expenses were covered under the project.
Additionally, an optical coherence tomography device worth 17 million soms was donated to the Osh hospital.
During the implementation of the project in 2023, 338 surgeries were performed, in 2024 - 237, and in 2025 - 317 surgeries.
In gratitude, the hospital presented gifts to the Chinese doctors and signed a new cooperation agreement for three years.
