The minister inspected the inpatient departments, outpatient block, and offices of specialist doctors. Additionally, he familiarized himself with projects for modernizing engineering systems and organizing nutrition for patients.
According to the management, the inpatient department of the General Practice Center accommodates 50 beds, of which 25 are designated for adults and the other 25 for children. The annual budget of the center amounts to 120 million soms.
During discussions with the management and medical staff, important issues were raised concerning the shortage of personnel, the need for retraining specialists, as well as the non-compliance of several old buildings with sanitary and construction requirements.
