The signing ceremony of grant agreements aimed at improving the healthcare system of Kyrgyzstan took place as part of the Japanese government's program "Roots of Grass and Human Security."

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Health, equipment will be transferred to the Primary Health Care Center located in the Ton district of the Issyk-Kul region, including a video colposcope, electrocardiograph, ENT unit, as well as means for sterilization and diagnostics. The total grant amount is $44,400, which will significantly improve the quality of preventive and diagnostic services for local residents.

In turn, the Primary Health Care Center of the Alay district in the Osh region will receive modern equipment worth $64,800, including an anesthesia machine, surgical lamps, and an electrocautery device. This will provide more accessible and safer medical assistance for the population of the southern regions of the country.

This program is being implemented by Japan to support projects aimed at improving the living conditions of the population in developing countries.

Since 1996, more than 140 projects have been carried out in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Japan in various fields, including healthcare, education, and social protection.
