This measure was taken in accordance with the presidential decree issued on June 16, 2025, under number 183. The decree pertains to the order and mechanism of interchangeability of law enforcement agencies involved in ensuring public safety, protecting the population, and maintaining the territorial integrity of the country.
According to the new resolution, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan will receive expanded powers to participate in activities aimed at maintaining public safety and protecting territorial integrity, with an emphasis on the principle of interchangeability of law enforcement agencies.
The implementation of this resolution will be carried out within the framework of the staffing levels and budgetary resources allocated for the current and future years for the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It will come into effect 10 days after its official publication.
