This draft resolution has been submitted for public discussion.
This measure is explained by the sharp increase in the number of institutions offering such programs and the current issues in training medical personnel in the field of continuing education.
According to the agency, over 80 institutions have received licenses for programs related to cosmetology, nursing, and dentistry. In recent years, this has led to a number of problems with the quality of education, including:
- an increase in the number of organizations that do not meet educational standards;
- a lack of qualified teachers;
- insufficient clinical and practical training for students.
According to Article 7 of the law "On the Licensing and Permitting System," the Cabinet of Ministers has the right to impose temporary restrictions on the licensing of certain types of activities.
The agency emphasizes that the training of medical specialists requires a high degree of responsibility, as it is directly related to the health of the population. The introduction of a temporary moratorium on the licensing of additional medical educational programs will improve the quality of education, increase the accountability of organizations, and bring them in line with international standards.
