At the meeting reported by the ministry's press service, the areas of cooperation in the field of school and initial vocational education were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the development of French language teaching in educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan. The ambassador expressed interest in expanding language study programs and suggested increasing the number of hours allocated for studying French.
Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, in turn, noted the existence of schools with a humanitarian and language focus, where French could be introduced as an additional subject. She emphasized the need to create a teaching and methodological complex that would be adapted to the peculiarities of the Kyrgyz educational system.
The parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of initial vocational education. The Kyrgyz side proposed to organize short-term courses in French cuisine and training for tourist guides based at vocational lyceums.
As a result of the meeting, it was decided to create a working group that will develop a teaching and methodological program for the French language and plan joint educational initiatives.
