The Kerege Center is opening in Bishkek — a new space for psychological support.

At a recent UN meeting dedicated to non-communicable diseases and mental health, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Health Erkin Chechebaev reported that 11% of the country's population, which corresponds to nearly one in nine people, faces various mental disorders. In the context of the rapid development of major cities like Bishkek, even those who do not fall into this statistic may feel the need for professional help to overcome stress and anxiety.

The goals of the Kerege Center are to create a comfortable, modern, and professionally designed environment for individual and group therapy. The name "kerege" is chosen deliberately: it is an element of the yurt that provides its structural integrity. Just as the kerege serves as the foundation for the yurt, emotional balance and mental health are the foundation for a full and satisfying life.
