According to established norms, there should be 16 square meters of green space per resident, while in Bishkek this figure is only 4.5-5 square meters. This was reported at a press conference by the Deputy Head of "Bishkek City Architecture" Aziret Akimov.

He noted that in the process of developing the General Plan for Bishkek, the allocation of 1,500 hectares for green spaces is planned.

“This is necessary considering the growth of the city's population,” he added.
