He emphasized that innovations in technology come with both new opportunities and new threats.
“Cybercrime, money laundering, financing of extremism and terrorism, leakage of personal data, as well as market manipulation in virtual assets. These challenges require law enforcement agencies, financial regulators, and all government institutions to work together and establish unified security standards,” Niyazbekov noted.
The minister added that it is necessary to develop and implement national risk management standards in the field of virtual assets, taking into account international recommendations and best practices from countries where such systems are already successfully applied.
