In the Issyk-Ata district, law enforcement officers uncovered a case of vandalism at a Christian cemetery located in the village of Ivanovka.
Reports of the incident were received by the district's internal affairs department on October 6, 2025. Unknown individuals made inscriptions and damaged gravestones using spray paint.
A check was registered regarding this fact, as reported by the Main Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region.
The investigative-operational group arrived at the scene of the incident. As a result of the inspection, it was established that several gravestones had been damaged with paint.
During operational-search activities, the police detained a minor resident of Ivanovka, S.R., born in 2008, for further investigative actions.
The investigation is ongoing, and a corresponding decision will be made based on its results.
