The investigation by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) revealed that a significant number of land shares in the Tyup rural district were being used without proper documentation. These lands were involved in agricultural circulation without registration and payment of the necessary taxes, and their users did not possess the appropriate documents and were connected to local authorities.
This situation caused dissatisfaction among the local population, particularly at the beginning of the spring fieldwork, when the activities of the so-called "land mafia" became evident. It also negatively affected the socio-political situation and violated the principles of equal and rational use of land resources. As a result, the level of agricultural production decreased, complicating the development of the economy and social infrastructure in the region.
As a result of the conducted measures, it was established that 2,319 hectares of land shares were used illegally. Of this area, 1,876.47 hectares were classified as "irrigated arable land," and 442.69 hectares as "dryland."
During further investigative and operational actions, the mentioned land plots were registered with the State Institution "Cadastre" of the Tyup district and transferred to the balance of the Tyup rural district.
Currently, a number of operational and investigative actions are being carried out, including a legal assessment of the actions of officials who committed violations, as well as the identification of other instances of illegal activities.
