Currently, the following works are being carried out at the station:
• major repair of hydro unit No. 1;
• installation of rotor poles and inspection of main components;
• washing and cleaning of oil coolers;
• repair of the turbine shaft and equipment inspection;
• current repair of electrical equipment of ORU-110;
• maintenance and painting of air collectors;
At the same time, landscaping of the Kambarata HPP-2 area is underway, including large-scale work on the construction of the station platform and the building of a road. Earthworks have been completed, and the laying of the concrete base for the retaining wall is in progress, with reinforcement and concreting of the upper and lower parts of the structure completed. These actions are aimed at improving infrastructure, ensuring safe access to production areas, and strengthening surrounding areas.
All works are being carried out according to the approved schedule. The comprehensive modernization of Kambarata HPP-2 is aimed at increasing the reliability of equipment, improving the technical characteristics of the station, and strengthening the energy security of the country.
