The height of the modular wind turbines is about 3 meters, and the rotor diameter is 5.4 meters. This allows them to be installed on building rooftops, in industrial areas, and local microgrids. The uniqueness of these turbines lies in their ability to adapt to current wind conditions. Artificial intelligence adjusts the blade pitch every millisecond, taking into account the wind speed, direction, and the aerodynamic interaction between the blades. This not only increases overall efficiency but also protects the device from adverse weather conditions.
GEVI Wind claims that their wind turbines can produce 60% more electricity per year compared to leading vertical models, while the mechanical load during strong winds is reduced by 80%. The noise level is no more than 38 dB (comparable to a whisper) at a distance of 10 meters, making them suitable for installation in residential and urban environments.
These devices provide power in the range of 3 to 5 kW at a minimum wind speed of 2.5 m/s. Installation does not require cranes or complex maintenance, facilitating integration into decentralized energy systems.
Since its founding in 2022, GEVI Wind plans to use the funds raised to launch serial production, improve control algorithms, and develop new models for various operating conditions. Founder Emanuele Luzzati noted that the main goal of the startup is to enhance the accessibility, efficiency, and integration of local wind energy into everyday life.
The company aims to create a model of distributed energy, allowing clean wind energy to be generated directly at the points of consumption—from the rooftops of urban houses to remote settlements.
