During his visit, he familiarized himself with the work of the institute's main departments, emphasizing the importance of creating rehabilitation programs for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
“We must move away from the view that rehabilitation is merely an additional service. It is a crucial part of the modern treatment process. State institutions are obligated not only to provide medical assistance but also to facilitate the complete recovery of the individual and their return to a full life,” noted Checheybaev.
As a result of his visit, the minister instructed to work on developing a Concept for the Development of Rehabilitation, to intensify scientific research, to implement modern rehabilitation methods, and to organize training for specialists with the aim of enhancing their qualifications.
