At a recent meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, a report from OJSC "Kyrgyzkomur" was presented regarding its activities for the first three quarters of 2025. The information was announced by the company's press service.

According to the report, during the specified period, "Kyrgyzkomur" extracted 655.3 thousand tons of coal and completed 6.8 million cubic meters of overburden works. An additional 100 thousand tons of coal were uncovered at the Kara-Kechin deposit, of which 30 thousand tons are already prepared for shipment to consumers.

As part of the state program "100 Industrial Projects - 2025," joint projects are actively being implemented at five deposits: "Sulyukta Field-11," "Tegene," "Markai," "Kojo-Kelen," and "Beshburkhan." In August, the opening of two new deposits — "Kojo-Kelen" and "Beshburkhan" — took place, where mining preparation works have already begun.

The company has also focused its efforts on providing the population with coal during the winter period. In various regions of the country, 118 fuel bases and points are operating, which allows for reliable coal supplies for residents and government institutions.

The financial results show positive dynamics. Over the nine months of the current year, the company's revenues amounted to 3.58 billion soms, expenses were 3.46 billion, and net profit reached 120.1 million soms, which is 52% higher than the figures for the same period last year.

Additionally, a modern sorting complex that meets environmental standards was launched at the "Kara-Keche" deposit in September. To update its fleet, the company purchased 29 units of specialized equipment for a total of 259.2 million soms.
