Since 2022, however, educational institutions in the Batken region receive funding directly from the Ministry of Education from the republican budget.
For 2025, it is planned to allocate 156.5 million soms from the republican budget to provide coal for educational organizations, including preschool institutions, boarding schools, extracurricular establishments, and orphanages, of which 121.4 million soms are allocated for the Batken region.
To date, educational institutions have already been allocated 103.3 million soms, of which 92.4 million soms are intended for the Batken region.
To prepare for the heating season of 2025–2026, the Ministry of Education has additionally allocated 45.4 million soms from the 2025 budget for the repair and restoration of boiler houses in the Batken region.
As of today, 95,487.19 tons of coal have been delivered and stored in educational institutions across the country, which is 71.04% of the total plan.
The Ministry also noted that work is actively underway to prepare educational institutions for the autumn-winter period.
