- The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Mongolia was opened relatively recently. What steps have been taken since its opening?
- The opening of the embassy took place in July 2023 during the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Mongolia. This event marked an important step in strengthening Kyrgyz-Mongolian ties, demonstrating mutual interest in deepening relations between the countries.
The main task of the embassy is to develop bilateral relations in the political, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Since its opening, the embassy has been actively working on all key areas of interstate cooperation.
Over the past two years, several significant high-profile visits have taken place. In July 2023, President Sadyr Japarov visited Mongolia on a state visit, during which a joint declaration was signed, confirming the deepening of friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, as well as 11 bilateral agreements were signed.
