In addition, the EBRD has already allocated a second tranche of funding amounting to up to 3.3 million euros, including a grant of 1.6 million euros, for the implementation of a water supply project in Bazar-Korgon. These funds will help modernize the water supply infrastructure and provide over 60,000 residents of the city with access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation conditions. This project has become the seventh sovereign infrastructure project signed by the EBRD in Kyrgyzstan in 2025, increasing its total investment in the country's infrastructure to 100 million euros.
