Chanpen Zhao announced the launch of a national stablecoin and digital som in Kyrgyzstan

Changpeng Zhao, the founder and former CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, shared significant news about digital finance in Kyrgyzstan. He announced that the country has successfully launched a national stablecoin on the BNB Chain, and the central bank digital currency (CBDC) is ready for implementation and will be used for government payments.

Additionally, he noted the creation of a National Cryptocurrency Reserve, which includes the BNB token.

Furthermore, Binance has assisted the EthSign project in entering the Kyrgyz market to implement digital signatures on the blockchain. Zhao stated that the company aims to provide "strategic value" rather than just making investments.

As of now, official structures in Kyrgyzstan have not made public comments regarding the launch of the national stablecoin and cryptocurrency reserve.
