According to the press service of the presidential representative office in this region, 181 residential houses have been built in the new settlement of Zhanı Dostuk.
According to the agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, the village of Dostuk is being transferred to Tajikistan. In return, Kyrgyzstan will receive 91 hectares of land, equivalent to the area of the village, as well as 30 hectares as compensation for infrastructure. In accordance with the agreement, the state is obligated to provide the residents of Dostuk with new homes and land plots in another area. The construction of new residential buildings began in March of this year.
