Issyk-Kul residents held a cleanup in the Kurchin Gorge, removing over 3 tons of waste.

In the Issyk-Kul region, a clean-up was held in the Kychyn gorge, where over 3 tons of garbage were removed. This was reported by the press service of the authorized representative office of the government in the Issyk-Kul region.

According to the agency, more than 300 people from the local community of the Semenov rural administration, representatives of the forestry, workers from the Semenov orphanage, and youth from the area participated in the clean-up. With the help of machinery, over 3 tons of garbage were removed.

The agency notes that the day after the World Nomad Games, local authorities organized a clean-up in the Kychyn gorge, where an ethnovillage was set up.

However, it was reported that due to rainy weather, the participants of the clean-up were unable to remove all the garbage, so a repeat clean-up was organized today in the Kychyn gorge, with more than 300 people taking part.
