The cinema "Batken Kino," which was built in the 1960s and 1970s, remained closed for a long time. Now, after a major renovation, it is equipped with modern technologies and new furniture. The opening coincided with the celebration of Batken City Day, making it a significant event for local residents.

As part of the project for the reconstruction of six cinemas in small and medium-sized cities of Kyrgyzstan, including Batken, Cholpon-Ata, Kerben, Aravan, and Tokmok, as well as the village of Belovodskoye, $1.55 million was allocated.
