According to information from the local police, the incident occurred on October 22 at approximately 11:30 PM in the city of Batken. A 37-year-old man, M.K., who is temporarily residing in this city, reported to the police about the theft during which his personal belongings were stolen, including a Samsung A50 mobile phone, clothing, and 6000 soms.
This fact was registered under Article 205 ("Theft"), and an investigation has been initiated. During the investigation, it was established that the total amount of damage caused was 19,000 soms.
As a result of operational search activities, officers of the Batken Internal Affairs Department detained the suspect, a citizen of a neighboring country, R.D., who was placed in a temporary detention facility. A check is being conducted to determine the possible involvement of this individual in other crimes. The investigation is ongoing.
