A criminal case has been initiated against a man
In Osh, law enforcement authorities detained the ride operator from which an 18-year-old young woman fell and died.
Recall that the tragic incident occurred on September 21 in Navoi Park. The girl, born in 2007, was a resident of the Kara-Suu district and was riding the attraction when the accident happened.
According to the city’s Department of Internal Affairs, a 30-year-old resident of the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region has been detained, who is accused under Article 297 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Creating danger for consumers causing harm by negligence." He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
This man was responsible for ensuring the technical safety of the attraction and was required to conduct briefings for visitors. However, according to the investigation, at the time of the incident, he was not at his workplace and had replaced himself with an untrained employee.
