According to the information from the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan on October 23 at 22:44. This is already the fourth such event in a day.

According to the institute's data, the magnitude of this earthquake was 3.3. The epicenter was located 12 km from the village of Kara-Kungey and 25 km from the village of Kochkorka. In the villages of Kara-Kungey and Kara-Saz, tremors were felt at a level of about 2.5 points.

On the same day, earlier at 13:20, another earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 was recorded in the mountains of Terskey Ala-Too, 13 km from the village of Toguz-Bulak and 30 km from Bokonbaeva. In such settlements as Toguz-Bulak, Konur-Olen, Komsomol, Kok-Sai, Temir-Kanat, Bokonbaeva, Tort-Kul, and Tuura-Suu, tremors were felt with a force of up to 3 points.

It is also worth noting that on October 22, two earthquakes were registered in the territory of Kyrgyzstan: one at 20:04 with a magnitude of 3.9, and another at 13:33 with a magnitude of 3.6.
