According to the statement, the incident happened around 2 a.m. at the intersection of Omur and Dolon-Biy streets in the residential area of "Ak-Ordo." While driving a BMW, Taalaibekov stopped at a traffic light when a Toyota Will crashed into his car. As a result of the ensuing conflict, he sustained bodily injuries. All participants in the incident were taken to the Department of Internal Affairs for clarification of the circumstances. A medical examination showed that all of them were in a state of alcohol intoxication. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and necessary examinations were appointed," the official statement said.
Four individuals suspected of involvement in the incident — J.A., S.A., E.A., and S.E., all born in 1997, were placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs.
The capital's police emphasized that any deliberate actions that violate public order, including aggressive behavior and participation in mass brawls, can be classified as hooliganism, which carries serious criminal liability, including imprisonment for up to five years. Law enforcement agencies urged citizens to abide by the law and not create threats to the safety of others. The investigation is ongoing.
