The incident occurred on October 25 at around 01:10, when a 17-year-old driver, O.A.U., was driving a Mercedes-Benz E55 southbound on Baytik Baatyr Street. Near house No. 72, he lost control, causing the car to crash into a tree and ignite upon impact.
The driver was urgently hospitalized with a diagnosis of closed traumatic brain injury and concussion at the neurotraumatology department of the Bishkek Clinical Emergency Hospital. Two passengers were also taken to the intensive care unit: 16-year-old E.T. with combined injuries, closed traumatic brain injury, concussion, and closed fracture of the femur, and 17-year-old Zh.K. with similar injuries, including a hip dislocation.
This case has been registered in the ZHUI, and an investigation is currently underway.
