At around 8:40 PM, a "Zong-Tong" bus, driven by a 1990-born driver, was traveling eastward and struck a pedestrian before reaching Kuliev Street.
Preliminary data indicates that the victim was a man of Asian descent, presumably aged 40-45. He sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been established.
Witnesses claim that the bus ran over the victim's head, leaving him with virtually no chance of survival.
This fact has been registered in the AIS ZHUI of the capital's Department of Internal Affairs. The bus has been placed in a tow yard, and necessary examinations are being conducted. A decision will be made based on the results of the investigation in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
