The driver was under the influence of drugs
Patrol officers in Bishkek discovered the driver who fatally hit a woman and left the scene of the accident.
Recall that the incident occurred on October 21 at around 07:19 at a pedestrian crossing near house No. 193 on Den Xiaoping Street. The pedestrian, a 63-year-old woman, died at the scene from her injuries.
The police found that the driver of the Geely EV-450 was O. uulu A., born in 1998. During the operation, he was apprehended. A medical examination showed that he had consumed narcotic substances. As a result, O. uulu A. was arrested.
During the interrogation, the detainee stated that he returned to the scene of the accident after the collision, but upon seeing the woman's body covered with a blanket, he became frightened and fled again.
