The underage girl stated that her parents provided her with a car so she could "go to the store".
In Bishkek, patrol service officers detained a 17-year-old girl who was driving a vehicle.
According to information from the Traffic Police, during a raid, inspectors stopped a vehicle being driven by a minor who did not have a driver's license and had never undergone training at a driving school.
She explained that her parents allowed her to take the car temporarily for a trip to the store.
The vehicle was impounded, and a report was filed against the girl for the violation.
“Unfortunately, parents continue to ignore calls not to allow their underage children, who do not have driver's licenses and driving experience, to operate vehicles. The Traffic Police of Bishkek strongly recommends that parents be more responsible and not allow their children to drive cars without licenses. Remember: one mistake on the road can cost a life!” – the agency stated.
