Attention to motorists is urged to increase
October has been tragic for Kyrgyzstan: as a result of road traffic accidents, four children have died. In this regard, the Patrol Police Department has strongly urged drivers to be especially attentive near schools, yards, and pedestrian crossings.
“Inattention on the road can lead to tragedy. Observe the speed limit and yield the right of way — protect the lives of children!” — noted police officers.
We remind you that on October 13 in Kara-Balta, an accident occurred in which two children, aged 7 and 8, grabbed onto the trailer of a KamAZ truck while playing. They were unable to hold on and ended up under the wheels of the truck, resulting in their immediate death during the game.
On October 18 in Bishkek, a 17-year-old boy, driving a car at high speed, crashed into another vehicle and drove onto the sidewalk, hitting four pedestrians. One of them, a 13-year-old boy, died at the scene of the accident.
On October 22, in the parking lot near the Asia Mall shopping center, a driver fatally struck a 3-year-old girl while parking.
