In Bishkek, on the square named after Turdakun Usubaliev, on November 1, the day of the 101st anniversary of the Kyrgyz militia, a celebration was held with the participation of the president, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Sadyr Japarov.
Before the event began, the president inspected the special transport prepared for the occasion. A total of 101 units of equipment were presented, which will be distributed across the regions.
In his address, the head of state noted that a lot has been done in the last five years to strengthen the work of the Kyrgyz militia and enhance its status.
“To improve the quality of service to citizens, 85% of the material and technical base of the internal affairs agencies has been updated. All changes meet modern requirements — from uniforms to the organization of work processes,” emphasized Sadyr Japarov.
He also added that the salaries of employees have been doubled, and for those serving in the Batken region, they have been increased fourfold. In addition, social support for personnel has been provided,” the president noted.
After that, the online opening of several facilities of the internal affairs agencies took place across the country, including new and renovated buildings of city and district departments, police stations, as well as residential and service premises for employees.
