Today in Osh, a ceremony was held during which the department received seven JAC vehicles and ten Changan X5 cars. The deputy representative of the president in the Osh region, Talantbek Arstankulov, congratulated the police officers on behalf of the head of the region, Elchibek Jantayev, wishing them successful service.
He noted that the new vehicles would contribute to improving the material and technical base of the police and enhance the effectiveness of their work in ensuring public safety.
The cars will be distributed among the district divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Osh region and the regional department responsible for road safety.
It was previously reported that in honor of the 101st anniversary of the Kyrgyz police, the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to transfer 101 service vehicles equipped with modern digital systems.
The professional holiday of the police is celebrated on November 1, the day in 1924 when the administrative department of the Revolutionary Committee of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region was established, which included the regional police department.
