Kamchybek Tashiev, the chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of Kyrgyzstan, congratulated the police officers who have long served in the internal affairs bodies, as well as all women working in this field, on the professional holiday that will be celebrated on November 1.
Tashiev emphasized that the 101st anniversary of the establishment of the Kyrgyz police, which is responsible for the safety of the state, society, and citizens, represents a part of a long history. He expressed hope for good health, strength, and well-being for all those serving who carry out their responsible work.
The head of the SCNS had previously stated that the state of this sphere leaves much to be desired and is associated with corruption. He noted that the government continues to create conditions for improving the work of police officers and to implement measures for social protection, as well as strengthening the material and technical base of the bodies.
At the meeting, several police officers received awards from the head of the special service.
It is important to note that on November 1, 1924, the Administrative Department was established by the Revolutionary Committee of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, which included the regional police department. This date is now celebrated as the day of the establishment of the Kyrgyz police.
