In his address, he congratulated all law enforcement officers on the Day of the Kyrgyz Militia.

The congratulatory text was sent out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service:

“Dear employees of the internal affairs bodies and Internal Troops!

Respected veterans!

It is with great pleasure that I congratulate you on your professional holiday — the Day of the Kyrgyz Militia!

This year, the Kyrgyz militia has taken an important step in its history by entering a new century. Our country is dynamically developing, reaching new heights and taking its rightful place in society, creating the future with new perspectives and energy.

Every year, the militia faces an increasing number of tasks. With the development of technology and changes in society, new forms of crime are emerging. Therefore, the militia constantly updates its methods of work and professionally responds to the challenges of the times.

Today, many citizens are actively interested in the work of the militia, which is a responsible, complex, and honorable profession, always in the center of public attention.

Unfortunately, there have been casualties. In protecting the peace of the country, many militia officers have given their lives. The memory of them, of those who sacrificed themselves for the safety of the people, will forever remain in our hearts.

Currently, increasingly comfortable conditions are being created for militia employees. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is consistently working in this direction. Over the past five years, 400 buildings of the internal affairs bodies have been completely renovated, of which 150 have been newly constructed. This has improved the quality of service to citizens and increased the effectiveness of crime prevention. The militia's vehicle fleet has been updated by 90%, allowing for the purchase of modern service vehicles and combat equipment.

To enhance the safety of citizens and prevent crimes, more than 4,000 video cameras have been installed in all regions of the country, enabling round-the-clock monitoring of public order. As a result, the crime rate has decreased by 69% over the past five years, and serious violations of public order have decreased by 68%.

As part of the “Safe Country” project, with the support of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, there are plans to increase the number of video cameras to 20,000 in the near future.

Employees who have long lived in rented apartments have begun to receive their own housing. Thanks to the State Mortgage Company, about 300 families have already become owners of new apartments. Work to provide housing for employees will continue.

“The Kyrgyz Militia,” having carried out significant reforms, confidently moves forward, actively using modern digital technologies to achieve its goals.

Every militia officer must remember that ensuring public safety, combating crime, and providing quality service to citizens is their primary duty.

Our task is to adhere to the principles of honor, humanity, and vigilance, and to serve the people diligently. May our efforts bear fruit, and may we leave a safe and stable state for future generations.

Keeping in our hearts the motto “We serve the people,” we continue to achieve new successes together, ensuring a peaceful and calm life for our people.

I sincerely wish all the brave employees of the Kyrgyz Militia, who fulfill their official duty, as well as the families of our respected veterans — peace, harmony, happiness, prosperity, and good health.

Happy holiday to you!”
