According to law enforcement agencies, such establishments offered clients the opportunity to isolate themselves in private rooms, creating conditions for immoral activities. The GUVD clarified that this type of activity is essentially equivalent to providing hotel services without the necessary license.
The key objectives of the raid were:
- to detect and terminate illegal businesses;
- to protect minors from potential involvement in criminal and antisocial activities;
- to monitor compliance with legislation in the field of public services.
The GUVD also noted that such establishments could pose a threat to public morality and safety, especially concerning youth. In this regard, the police urged parents to pay closer attention to where and how their children spend their time.
