On October 18, in the waters of Issyk-Kul, employees of the regional office of the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service conducted an operation, resulting in the seizure of 1000 meters of illegally installed old synthetic nets.
According to information provided by the Ecological and Technical Supervision Service, representatives of civil society also participated in the action.
The aim of the event was to protect fish resources and preserve the biological diversity of the lake. Regular raids to eliminate illegal nets are conducted systematically.
