“The economic growth achieved in recent years has been the result of the fruitful work of diplomats”
Congratulations on the professional holiday were addressed to the workers and veterans of the diplomatic service from the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The corresponding text of the congratulations was published by the press service of the cabinet.
“Dear workers and veterans of the diplomatic service!
With my best wishes, I congratulate you on the Day of the Worker of the Diplomatic Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Our modern diplomacy is based on the rich historical heritage of the people, the art of building relationships with neighbors based on respect, justice, and trust.
It is important to note that this year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, which coincides with a new era of global transformations.
Kyrgyzstan continues to pursue a peaceful and multi-vector foreign policy based on the principles of international law, equality, and mutual respect. The active participation of the country in international organizations such as the UN, SCO, CSTO, and many others confirms this.
This year, Kyrgyzstan simultaneously chaired the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Organization of Turkic States. In September, our country took on the responsibility of chairing the SCO in Tianjin.
Within the framework of our chairmanship in the SCO, significant events in the political, economic, and cultural spheres are planned.
Over the past two years, work has intensified to promote Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028, with elections taking place next year. In this regard, the professionalism and knowledge of diplomats will be in demand like never before.
Dear diplomats!
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic is taking all necessary measures to attract investments in strategically important sectors of the economy, including energy, transport, industry, and others. Our country is actively working to improve its transport and transit potential, as well as supporting international initiatives to combat climate change.
The successful economic growth of recent years has been made possible by the hard work of our diplomats operating on the international stage. Special thanks go to our representatives abroad, who work for the benefit of the country and ensure the development of ties with international partners.
As part of expanding the diplomatic presence of the Kyrgyz Republic on a global level, new embassies have been opened in several countries, including France and Italy, during the period of 2021-2025. This work will continue.
Dear veterans and diplomats!
You face important tasks that require great effort and dedication. I am confident that the experience and wisdom of veterans will support young specialists just beginning their journey in diplomacy.
I wish you health, prosperity, and new successes in your professional activities,” the head of the cabinet emphasized in his congratulations.
