The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, noted the professional holiday of the workers and veterans of the diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

“Dear workers and veterans of the diplomatic service!

I am very pleased to congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Day of the Diplomatic Service Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The modern diplomacy of Kyrgyzstan is built on strong historical traditions laid down by our ancestors. They knew how to establish relationships with neighbors based on the principles of respect, justice, and trust.

It should be noted that this year we celebrate the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, coinciding with a period of global changes in the world order.

Today, it is important to emphasize that Kyrgyzstan adheres to a balanced and peace-loving foreign policy based on the principles of international law, equality, and mutual respect.

Kyrgyzstan's active foreign position is supported by participation in international organizations and integration associations such as the UN, SCO, CSTO, CIS, EAEU, and others.

This year, Kyrgyzstan simultaneously held the chairmanship in the Organization of Turkic States and the Collective Security Treaty Organization. In September, our country took on the chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is an important task.

Within the framework of the chairmanship in the SCO, key events in the fields of politics, economics, culture, and education are planned.

In the past two years, Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for the status of a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028 has been actively promoted, with elections scheduled for next year.

In this regard, your professional skills and knowledge will be extremely necessary in the future.

Dear diplomats!

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic is taking all possible measures to attract investments in strategically important sectors, including energy, transport, industry, logistics, digitalization, and tourism.

Our country is actively developing its transport and energy potential and is initiating international projects to combat climate change and protect mountain ecosystems.

The economic growth achieved in recent years has been largely made possible thanks to the tireless work of our diplomats. I would like to express special gratitude to the staff of foreign institutions who protect the interests of the state on the "front line," facilitate the establishment of connections with international partners, and attract new investments and technologies to Kyrgyzstan. It is also important to note their work in protecting the rights of our citizens abroad.

In order to expand Kyrgyzstan's diplomatic and consular presence on the international stage, and with the support of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, S.N. Japarov, embassies were opened in France, Italy, Hungary, Mongolia, and Ethiopia from 2021 to 2025, as well as consulates in Chicago, St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Antalya. This work will continue in the future.

Significant efforts are being made to improve the material and technical base of our diplomatic and consular institutions.

This year, in honor of Independence Day, a new building for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs representation for the Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken regions was opened in the city of Osh.

We will continue to work on creating comfortable conditions for our diplomats.

Dear veterans of the diplomatic service!

Dear diplomats!

The diplomatic service of the Kyrgyz Republic faces a number of important tasks, for the solution of which your dedication and commitment are necessary.

I am confident that the accumulated experience of veterans of domestic diplomacy and their life wisdom will serve as an example and guide for new specialists who are just beginning their path in diplomacy.

I wish you and your loved ones health, family well-being, and new successes in your professional activities,” concluded the head of the cabinet.
