Participants in the ceremony dedicated to this event included the presidential representative in the Osh region, Elchibek Jantaev, the head of the Department of Internal Affairs, Nurlanbek Burkanov, as well as veterans of the militia and representatives of various agencies.
The festive activities began with a laying of flowers at the memorial dedicated to police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Then, Nurlanbek Burkanov, on behalf of the Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov, congratulated the veterans and staff present, presenting them with awards, including departmental medals and Honorary Certificates from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Department of Internal Affairs of the Osh region.
Elchibek Jantaev and other participants emphasized the significance of the work of police officers in maintaining public safety and presented commemorative gifts.
The event concluded with a festive treat for the veterans and a concert program prepared by cultural workers.
Similar celebrations took place in all seven districts of the Osh region.
