The ceremony took place at the monument in the village of Bayetov, which was erected in memory of the victims of the Afghan and Batken wars. At the beginning of the event, a memorial prayer was recited, and then a special event dedicated to veterans was held at the district House of Culture.
This event was attended by representatives of local and district authorities, as well as leaders of various institutions. Veterans were awarded certificates from the Ak-Tal District State Administration and received monetary prizes from the akim's reserve fund. In addition, the village council presented cash prizes and gifts. The program concluded with a small concert prepared by the artists of the House of Culture.
