A meeting of the presidential representative office took place in the Osh region.

As reported by a Turmush correspondent, on October 31, the results of work for the past nine months will be discussed at this meeting. Among the participants are the akims of seven districts, heads of various departments and organizations, heads of ayil okmotu, and representatives of law enforcement agencies.

Elchibek Jantaev, the presidential representative in the Osh region, delivered a report. He presented information on the socio-economic situation in the districts, as well as on completed, ongoing, and upcoming projects. "One of the key projects is the reconstruction of the Osh–Bishkek road. The section from Uzgen to Jalal-Abad will be updated, and in some areas, it will be expanded to six lanes," Jantaev reported.

The representative also announced plans for the construction of a bypass road around the city of Osh, which will begin after the New Year. This year, work is also planned to start on the routes Aravan–Too-Moyun (40 km), Daroot-Korgon–Üch-Korgon, and Ylay-Talaa–Gülchö.

"Our goal is to complete all these road projects," Jantaev emphasized.

Additionally, the heads of road organizations and district administrations were instructed to prepare for winter by stockpiling sand and gravel mixtures and materials for combating ice along the roads.

The presidential representative also drew attention to the problem of informal trade along the roads, which threatens road safety, and instructed to take measures to eliminate this disorder. "Eight illegally built mosques have been identified in the region. We have received instructions from the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and other leaders to bring their activities in line with the law," he added.
