The Collegium of the State Service for the Execution of Sentences (GSIN) held a meeting to summarize the results of its work over the past nine months. Representatives from the Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, and the Prosecutor's Office participated in this meeting.

According to the GSIN press service, efforts to prevent criminal influence among inmates continue. "An increasing number of prisoners are choosing law-abiding behavior, rejecting criminal norms. During this period, 2,603 mobile phones were identified and seized, of which 1,591 were voluntarily surrendered. The sale of these devices brought 1 million soms to the budget," the press service reports.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, 772 inmates are being trained in 22 different professions, and 3,050 prisoners have received rewards for their active participation in cultural events.

Additionally, information was presented at the collegium meeting regarding the complete reconstruction of the kindergarten "Baktyluu Balalyk," located in the village of Novopokrovka.

Currently, more than 1,800 inmates (about 30% of those able to work) are employed in six production zones and the "Tushtuk" branch, where food products, building materials, clothing, and other goods are produced. GSIN Chairman Chyngyz Kozhoshev noted that by 2027, it is planned to provide work for all prisoners.

The collegium also established priority areas for 2026, including strengthening discipline, developing production capacities, and facilitating the resocialization of inmates.
